Maybe THIS time, people will "get it."
For those with Obama Fever, caught up in Obamamania, etc., please don't avoid it thinking it's about Obama bashing.
That's not the point at all. |

Its made by Alex Jones. No one will get it. The man could say the sky is blue and people would call bullshit...probably because he would say it in the nighttime. |

Is this another one of those pointless conspiracy theory movies? Oh no, look out behind you! I really really mean it! ZOG is standing right behind you, reading over your shoulder! |

Watched it.
Melodrama out the wazoo, but I wouldn't be surprised if any of it were true, and heck, it makes more sense than the "He's a Muslim Plant" theory. |

Alex Jones does not have a good track record. How about someone who's seen it writing a brief summary of the main points? I'm willing to spend a couple of minutes reading a summary of the key points, even for something Alex Jones is involved with. |

Hmm...
Well, there's some annual secret meeting of the 125 or so most powerful/influential people in the world - name of the group starts with a B - and they decide the financial and political future. How many terrorist attacks we experience, how the market reacts to this and that, who to assassinate... This group's goal is, naturally, complete world domination, but I was under the impression that they already "rule the world", so maybe they just want to financially enslave us: socialize ALL banks and tax everything short of the air we breathe. The Federal Reserve is about as federal as the Salvation Army is deadly.
Other points: invent global warming in order to never allow the equatorial countries, rich in natural resources, to fully develop. We also never had an autonomous president since Kennedy, as they killed him because he wanted to make the world a better place with his fluffy ideals and initiatives...Peace Corps being one. Jones frequently goes back to Thomas Jefferson quotes to illustrate how we've been warned not to place our country in the hands of the banks.
Obama is black because it was the only way to galvanize the world to accept financial slavery, ie.The New World Order. He was perfectly groomed for the job of selling the idea of a unified but socialized world. That said, Jones could have made this film on any president who might have been elected (or, ahem, hand picked).
And so on and so forth. |

Twenty minutes in and I've heard about two minutes worth of argument again and again. |

Thanks. That saved me a lot of time.
OP,
What in that do you think is worthwhile? |

these are the same freaks who are terrified of RFID chips, and think Anderson Cooper (of CNN) is part of a cabal working to take over the world- the trilateral commission. There are so many horrible things going on in the world, from the Sudan to the Philippines, to China, to even in our own countrys' inner cities and back woods- why do some people feel the need to invent shadowy figures and groups trying to conquer the world.
By the way, the b-word, is the Brandenburg group. |

grr. It's BILDERBERG! The hotel where they first met in 1954.
Hence their fond nickname, The Bilderbergers. |

I watched about 80% of it.
It isn't just about Obama (or even about him much at all) it is more a movie linking together everyone's favourite conspiracy theories into one super big conspiracy theory. Kennedy's assassination, illuminati, bilderbergs, 911 conspiracy, new world order. If you like conspiracy theories it's got it all. His main point seems to be that Obama is a stooge for the new Anglo-American empire (based out of London and.. NY? Washington? I forget..)
He has a number of 'experts' to support his points. Those 'historians' and 'economists' and so on are other conspiracy nutjobs.
The man is ludicrous and the number of people who are sucked into these ridiculous conspiracy theories seems to be growing by the day. It seems people have lost all critical thinking skills. It's hard to go out in Seoul (or anywhere else in the world where westerners gather) without hearing some Alex Jones fan rabbiting on about these ridiculously convoluted New World Order conspiracy theories and accepting them uncritically, whilst refusing out of hand any news source which actually has professional journalists with decades of experience working for them.. |

Alex Jones is melodramatic, I'll give him that. But to dismiss him is folly
10 years ago, people said Bilderberger, the Trilateral Commission, even the council on foreign relations didn't exist. They all do.
10 years ago, people said there'd never be a one world currency. Gordon Brown, China, and Russia are now calling for one.
People said a black man would never be president, and now we get one at the exact moment where he'll be completely ineffective and able to present any real change. Coincidence? Not if you factor in that tons of his campaign money came from AIG, Geithner is a former AIG honcho, and I believe Rahm Emanuel is as well.
It's ridiculous and what's more, right in your face, and yet Alex is the nutjob? Just because you're calm and cynical doesn't mean you're right homie. |
