Hey there. Does anyone live in Hanam city?? Ive just arrived and although I am going to try my best to learn some Korean, it would be nice to know if there are any foreigners around that might wanna catch up for a beer at some stage.
Cheers! |

I lived in Hanam for two years - great place!
My advice? Sit outside Buy the Way at Tres Belle for a few hours and guaranteed you'll spot every single foreigner living there. |

I live in Tres Belle. Hanam City is actually kind of nice. Snowflake nailed the best place to run into foreign types, but if you have any questions or need to vent, I'm always down. |

I'm also in Hanam. Family Mart across from Hyundai Bescore is foreigner friendly too. The owner speaks great English and can help with translations if you're in a bind. I don't think I can PM because I don't have 25 posts though. |

Just a friendly reminder:
When you get your ARC, go to the LG electronics shop if you want a no-hassle phone on contract. I just switched carriers from KTF because they wouldn't give me a contract, and the SK shop guy basically told me to get a Korean co-signer for an overpriced phone. The LG in Tres Belle hooked me up with a nice phone with all the bells and whistles at a reasonable price.
All you need is your bank book and ARC. |

Hey, all you guys in Hanam--
Do you know anything about the Peace Flower School (꽃피는 학교) in Misa-Dong? It sounded like an interesting alternative education provider, but their website is really hard to wade through. Any thoughts, positive or negative? |
