When is the beginning and the end of summer vacation for the Korean Students. Are these the same dates for all students up to the high school kids? Thanks. |

Every school's principal decides exactly when 'vacations' start and end.
In general, summer vacation will start sometime around the middle of July. |

Uhmmmmm, this morning, walk over to your co-teacher or V-P or boss and ask them. Every school, every level is different. If you are a public school NET, then you should have got a calender and/or daytimer with your schools schedule of yearly events on March 2nd. If you didn't, then I guess they don't like you. It was on everyone's desk the first day. |

The vacation might be 5-7 weeks long but you may only get 1-2 weeks off, bring some books |

Ha, I don't know ONE NET who got a schedule, so don't feel bad. We all usually find things out at the last minute.
I finally broke down and asked for one, which is apparently in the making. You should do the same as it will save you a lot of wondering. But yeah, middle of July to middle/end of August sounds about right. |

GEPIK school - rural area..we finish Friday July 24th - return Tuesday 25th August (then the kids and other teachers are away for a 3 day 'camp' doing volunteer work with the disabled. (I have not been told yet if I should go but have no intention of doing so lol).
I have a years schedule. My school pretty good about that stuff. I reckon they think it is easier than having me ask about things all the time (which I did).
Sad that the summer holiday is so much shorter than winter. |

Even the Korean teachers didn't get a full schedule until a week after school started back up.. My handler just translated it for me and had me write down the important dates (holidays :p )
My summer vacation starts on July 24th.. and then summer camp for 4 weeks.. and maybe a week of sitting before school starts again. My school dates are way off from my friends in other PS schools though. |
