If thats the case, then anyone who is going to the middle/high school one, bring a bottle of liquor and it should be ok.
I wonder if anyone attends the optional lectures. there is a zero percent chance I will.
I was told that you have to bunk in a room of 3, with 1 key... I'll probably get stuck with a weiner security freak who locks me out all the time... |

| Does anyone know what toiletries will be provided? It says basic toiletries.. does that just mean like TP and handsoap? >_> Or does it mean shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap.. whatever else is needed..? |

To the person asking the meaning of 'basic toiletries', good question. Basic really does mean BASIC. TP and small bar of soap. Take everything elese or be price gouged at the on site convenience store.
To the person asking about bus to site.... your co-teacher will have (or you can download from Gepik site) clear instructions. I forget the exit number you need but the buses are parked a little way down the toad from one of the exits. Unless you are late there will be hordes of foreigners around. |

I had to beat it out of the coteacher via phone.
Those who are unsure - I just got told go out exit five at Migum Station, then go about 300 meters and you'll see the buses. Not endorsing that route, but that's what I was told.
I'll be the 6'5" grouchy guy with the little computer.
I dare you to find that the info I just posted in the above paragraph on on the GEPIK site. All I found was a .xls and a .doc, the latter being the astoundingly condescending piece posted above, and the former had two schedules, then an extra page with completely random fields chosen for telling me not to be late, then the times of the 2 buses.
Anyone else see a proposed schedule a month or so ago claiming we would go see NANTA? |

That page with the random 2 fields telling you to not be late also has a picture of the station with "Walk straight for about 30m.... exit 5..." stuff at top.

To the other person with the long name  I did actually check the site after I oosted the advice....found the map and ifno there, but it isn't the most user friendly thing to navigate.
One of the most valuable things I learned there last year is that if you oinch the bottom third of the coffee mix sticks off you can get something halfway close to coffee and milk powder with no sugar )) |

When I went while I was still a newbie, no toiletries were provided. Oh, and room assignments were pairing ourselves up before checking into the room.
GEPIK invites their lackies and those inexperienced enough not to know how inept this organization is at everything. Soon they will learn. Perhaps that is why GEPIK is focusing on bringing in new people. How long does GEPIK think that the newbies will believe the lies? |

She's not that hot and her ice queen demeanor and tendency to end every sentence with "cool?" makes her even less so.
However her assistant or whatever was pretty cute. |

haha at the orientation, she didn't want us to take pictures on the first day because she said she wanted to look her best (since she says her pictures will be all over the internet).. so on the 2nd day she announced that she was ready for pictures and had her make up on and allowed everyone to take pictures XD It was pretty funny~ |
