YES! And here's another awesome thing OTB has got going for it!

An article on America's most unhealthiest restaurants!

"D-
On the Border
On the Border is a subsidiary of Brinker International, the same parent company that owns Chili's and Romano's Macaroni Grill. It should come as no surprise then that this chain is just as threatening to your health as its corporate cohorts. The overloaded menu offers appetizers with 120 grams of fat, salads with a full day's worth of sodium, and taco entres with an horrific 960 caloriesand thats the calculation without rice and beans. Border crossing is a decidedly dangerous enterprise.

SURVIVAL STRATEGY: The Border Smart Menu highlights four items with fewer than 600 calories and 25 grams of fat. Those aren't great numbers considering they average 1,800 mg of sodium apiece, but that's all you've got to work with."

I was just back in Chicago for 3 weeks and I'm sure I've gained 10 lbs, roughly 7 of which I can attribute to Mexican fare.

I'm envious!
That's not too bad. I would gain that much just from the pizza and hot dog stand fare - Italian beefs, gyros, and pizza puffs Very Happy

The only authentic mexican restaurant in Korea is La Casa in Songtan. The cooks are all mexican and the food is excellent. They even have a live mexican singer on weekends! You can't get more authentic than that. Laughing

I can't believe no one's mentioned Dos Tacos! Again, I'm very sorry if I offend any real Mexican food afficiandos, but I LOVE Dos Tacos. Gangnam is my haunt and I LOVE their burritos...especially beef and avocado..yum! I know there's another in Hongdae which is also great. It's also much cheaper than OTB. More of a fast food place.

Went to Dos Tacos a couple of times.. the first time it was pretty good.. second time seemed to have gone downhill.

Forward is right about Tomatillo - at least it's bigger than Dos Tacos and seems a LOT cleaner, too!

Holy crap! You got the elusive jism sandwich! I thought those things had been outlawed. You can find out about them here:

I guess that any Margareta is a good Margateta, but I don't like mine coming out of a slurpee machine. Not surprisingly enough they tast like a slurpee.

Had one on the rocks today and it was good, not great.
The food however, was very nice! I see why some have been giving their chips good reviews, very tasty and not too thick.
I ordered an enchilada and tacos. I know, not too exotic, but they are my favs and I can get a feel for the overall quality of a place by how well they do on these 2 basics. The enchilada was the best I've had here. Outstanding and well complimented by the rice (also yummy.) The tacos were tasty as well. After finishing the plate and 2 bowls of chips, it took an effort to get up and leave!
Overall, it was a VERY good meal with decent service for an OK price. I will go back anytime I'm in the mood for good Tex-Mex.

OTB is a bit pricey but as close to a real mexican restaurant as one can find in Korea (specifically, free chips and salsa). I didn't care for the taco lunch meal, but the nachos were quite good (14,000W).

OTB, there seems to be thread about this every month or so.
It's good, pricy and but good quality and portions for that price.
And yes, there is a Taco Bell on Yongsan base...I can't believe how desperate some ppl are for Taco Bell Shocked
