if this is true, I'm going out on a limb and say the most horrible part of all would be that the cop saying 'blame your beauty' was actually hitting on her, too. |

How dare the object reject his Casanovan advances!
Those officers should be therapists.
Officer: So, what happened?
Woman: I was raped, and I don't know how to handle it!
Officer: Oh, yea. I can see why. I'd definitely hit it! Why don't we do it and you just try to enjoy it? |

Remember, folks, carrying pepper spray or mace in Korea (not using it, just having it) can land you in prison for up to 10 years.
Sexual predators and rapists often do less than 6 months for their violent offenses.
These are the facts that I wish the international media outlets would report on, especially when it the victims are teenagers and children and the sentences are a few months long. |

What about tazers? I would honestly, HONESTLY like to have a tazer in this country. |

If that's true, how can they advertise gas (mace) guns in all the sports dailies? It'd be like selling quarter bags of Skunk #1 in the NY Times. |

I remember reading in the Korea Times that pepper spray was illegal. It was a few months ago when that serial killer/rapist was still at large. They said sales of pepper spray were increasing despite it being illegal in Korea. |

Bobby Knight would make an excellent women's therapist in Korea, then.... how could the man famous for "if rape's inevitable, lay back and enjoy it" not?!?!? |

when she resisted his advances, he threatened her into kissing him and swore at her. She then visited Gangnam Police Station to file a complaint over his actions.
The woman is also obviously stupid.
(1) blind date (she's apparenty beautiful - but something must be wrong with her - not get a date without going "blind" maybe she has a bad personality)
(2) she kisses the guy (even though she was forced somehow - blind dates are usually at coffe shops or restaurants - I am sure he didn't use a weapon to force her to kiss in a coffee shop/restaurant)
(3) she goes to the police - to report having to kiss a guy and being sworn at.. (isn't swearing a natural habit/occurance in korea)??
Oh no -how dare my blind date swear at me - I had better lodge a criminal complaint! |

Wow, you are an ass.
1. Maybe she's focused on her career, or doesn't feel the need to serve at men's whim?
2. Because there are no quiet or empty streets late at night after a dinner...
3. Okay, you have a point on this one. |

The wording is a little ambiguous, not to mention grammatically clumsy. (Korean-to-English translation is likely to have been a factor.) She may or may not have kissed him. If she hadn't, then that would account for the swearing. |
