Anyone know where I can find a timetable for this train? I stumbled onto this train a few days ago, and hadn't known before that such a train along the #1 line existed (had also wondered what the green/red lines along that map meant).
I have to go from Seoul Yeok to Cheonan every week, and it sure beat the 2 hour normal subway train.

From Cheonan, there might be only 1 an hour or so.

The schedule should be posted in the station, on the landing platform somewhere. Look for it.

S-L-O-W

I say this because the wait time for this train is horrendous (from Incheon) Can't mention Cheonan but I believe that is pretty damn slow too

Usually the train is packed smelling like last nights' soju party Cool

The time table is on the platform. I catch it on the way home from work sometimes. It will stop between stations for long minutes then start again and go soooo slooooow. All the trains do that in the afternoon but I hoped for better from something called "rapid", you know?

If you have to go from Seoul station to Cheonan, don't take the subway. There are normal trains running about every20-30 minutes. www.korail.com

I have to go from Daegok to Cheonan, so I can either take the train all the way, having to wait for up to an hour at the stations for each, and pay 7k won, or pay 2k won, orange line - L7 - green line - yongsan rapid to cheonan and get there about the same time the train would have.

Well.. if I could get the timetable in writing somehow so I could consult it in the station and work out which one would get me there quicker... you know... before I buy a ticket for one of them!

Mornings (7-9) and evenings around rush hour that rapid comes every twelve-fifteen minutes. non-peak hours, it runs 20+/- minutes between trains.

The posted schedule/timetable will not help you much. It's not very accurate.

What line is this? Maybe on the Incheon line, but not the Cheonan line. 20-ish minutes is not right for non-peak hours, it runs once an hour then. I haven't stood on the platform for an hour and counted the trains, but I've gone at different times and the schedules posted on the platforms seem very accurate to me. The train might be off by a couple minutes but that's it.

Ya, I got on the Incheon Rapid by accident once, then realised my mistake soon as the doors shut. Next stop the platform was the same one for the KTX, was tempted to take that to Cheonan Cool
