I think the Korean girl's habit of holding her boyfriend's arm is endearing, as is the Korean guy's willingness to hold his girlfriend's purse. It makes them seem closer, happier, and more intimate, and when I see couples in Korea, it puts a smile on my face--a sensation quite different from the thoughts I had when I saw couples in America.

The Korean adjosshi has a slightly different attitude to mine, especially when the Korean girl is with a foreign guy. I've been dating a Korean girl for about 3 weeks, and it didn't take long to notice their glares at us. I find it funny, and while it irks my girlfriend, she's starting to tolerate it.

But this weekend, she noticed an entirely different phenomenon--middle-aged foreign men stare at us too. I thought she was paranoid, but I noticed it too; in Itaewon, we get glares from the middle-aged men, be they white, black, Indian, or any other race.

Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone explain this?

Another day, another sarcastic, negative comment from Samd. j/k

Seems to me like it's just a little social commentary on South Korea and the United States. What exactly was wrong with it?

Is your face as annoying as your posts? It could be the answer to your question.

I was in Itaewon last weekend. It's a cesspool.
Everyone stares at everyone. No big deal.

Exactly what I was thinking. This idiot is either off his meds or seriously has way too much time on his hands. Either way, this guy is a real wanker!

I get people staring at me when I'm chatting with my current girlfriend in public.

Just basic stuff, too, like asking about her day, where she'd like to have dinner, etc.

Example:
"Rosy, how was your day?"
or "Rosy, let's get busy tonight."
or "Rosy, your nails are getting a bit long."

And people stare at us?

I can come to the Itewon this weekend. PM med and tell me where you'd like to meet.

All the way to Itaewon, just to meet lil'l old me? I'm touched, but your obsession with me is strictly one-way, sorry. Confused
