I've been asked to provide a criminal record check by a prospective employer. I've done a bit of research online and I can't seem to find what it is I need to do. When I visited http://www.crb.gov.uk/Default.aspx?page=381 it says that an individual is not allowed to apply for a CRB check for themselves.
Please could somebody advise me as to what the usual routine for applying getting this check is? |

You need to get a basic disclosure

Thats what I did also. Except with Greater Manchester police. You are right, you can't get a CRB check! |
