might be accepting a job (good conditions, PS etc)near Bangwha, near the end of the purple line. Normally go out on the weekend to Sinchon/Hongdae area and was wondering if any of you knew how much a taxi would cost to get from there to Gimpo area just past the airport approximately?
I don't think there are any late buses that go there unfortunately so wondering how much a taxi would set me back. Either that or sleep in a jimjilbang which i wouldn't want to do so often. |

I lived in near Balsan station in 2007 and found that a late night cabbie could usually get me there from Hongdae for less than 10,000 won. I would add another 5-8 to get to where you're moving. Not horrible, but not great either.
A plus is that the fare is high enough that almost any cab will take you there, as opposed to the wave-off we've all experienced from late-night cabbies. |

I agree with the price estimates above.
It wouldn't take too long to get to Bangwha either (even though its the most northern part of Gangseo-gu) because the driver can go up along the river, and at that time of morning (5am) he can go pretty fast so you'd be home in 15 or 20 mins.
If you think the job is good then don't refuse it for something which is not really a problem. Whats an extra 10,000 won, or whats an extra 10 mins every weekend. |
