I am leaving soon and hoping to change all of my won to travelers checks before returning to the US. Does anyone have any experience with Woori Bank. I have not heard if they can issue travelers checks at all. I know that K*B does, but it is easier to do it at a bank close to home!
Anyone have any experience with Woori Bank.
Would you reccomend using travelers checks as the best way to take cash back to the US??

| The Woori Bank branch that I use does not issue travelers checks but I live in a smaller city (300,000ppl). My branch sent me to KB last year before I went on holidays. However, if you are heading home you are better off just to transfer the money to you home bank account. |

dont use Woori..
woori is korean for "our" and they take that very seriously.
when i was looking to set up my first account here both koreans and waegooks told me to stay away. they take nationalism to a new extreme there |
