|
|
I was speaking to my co teacher last week. They said that they celebrate Aprils fools in Korea.
So has anyone got anything planned for their classes or teachers tomorrow?
I'm thinking of telling my 6th grade that the Liancourt Rocks have just been taken over by Japan, i'm sure i'll think of something much more original before then! |

I'm going to spike the students' food with insanely hot hot sauce at lunch. |

a couple of years ago i did this, maybe i will do it again.
i bought 6 pizza boxes without the pizza. i went into the classroom carrying them (filled with books of about the same weight) and a few large cokes and all the extras, made them scream at the top of their lungs that i am the best teacher ever, then gave them their "pizza"
i am tempted to actually buy a real pizza so the smell is in the classoom, and then i can put that pizza on the top stack and open it in front of them.
another one is to pretend you will watch a movie, turn the lights off, turn on the tv, then just say "sorry, fooled you!!!" |

I threw away 4 pizza boxes last night, I might well go through the trash on the way home tonight!!! (should get a few funny looks!)
Awsome idea - that will take some beating, esp because I have 6th grade just before lunch! |

Just set mine up. Microsoft offers a BSOD screensaver. I just downloaded and installed it on the office computers. Sure some people will be hit today, but I call that a preemptive strike. |

I'm going to go with the standard, "Everyone please put your books away, we are having a test today" one for my university class. Making them squirm is going to fun. |

Yeah, that's my usual, too. However, to make it more believable, be sure to be carrying a stack of "tests". My problem is, I usually can't keep a straight face very long... |

Oooooooooooooooo!
That sounds like a painful medical condition, there are some good doctors about though who will be able to pull that rod out from your arse!
Seriously though, Im not bad at multi-tasking. No need to report me just yet, my kids are getting a good English education!
Have a nice evening.x |

I think I'll have the same problem. Normally for that class I have some supplementary materials I bring in that are printed off, so that will qualify as the stack of "tests".
The other possibility involved a couple packets of catchup and then stumbling in like I've cut myself badly. I did that to one of my bosses in a hagwon a few years ago and really freaked her out. That might be a bit overkill though. |

The tests one will trip them out as they had a big test today!!! LMAO! I'm going to carry in this big stack of papers and a briefcase full, show it off by laying it out on the desk, and say, "Good morning, Ooooh, another test? yes, today is the big English test! Let's begin!"
And then after you fool them on that, you can say, "Oh, it's movie time. Yes, we are going to watch a movie. Raise your right hand if you want to watch a movie instead of having class. I got a great movie I filmed on my little video camera here while I was at the theater in Seoul last Saturday. It's called, "Slumdog Millionaire." Turn off the lights, pull down the shades, pull the screen down, turn on the video projector, and wallah, it's the lesson! Not a movie! April Fools! |
