Saw this today and thought that the prices are not bad considering that the Intel i7 processor is relatively new.
On the other hand, we all know that prices will come down and I may be kicking myself later.
Oh, what to do?

Wait, unless you're really hardcore into getting the newest thing, just wait, and the price will go down.

Those systems are WAY overpriced from what I've been seeing on pricing from various websites. You could probably do better from Dell if you have to buy one pre-assembled.

As to whether to wait or not, waiting is always an option, but you can't wait forever. Computers always come down in price, it's just a matter of buying what you need when you need it.

Honestly, what for?

I'm jealous of my wife's computer, which is a pretty basic little set-up with on-board AMD graphics and a 5050e energy-efficient chip. Heck, that little 80,000 won thing gets 5.1 on Vista's CPU experience score.

My advice: Buy a cheaper system with an upgrade path later, if that's possible with the i7. Or just wait. That chip is just crazy-fast. With a good graphics card, the mid-range chips are just about plenty for 99% of what you need to do out there.
