That is, I love them.

No sure how many ladies here would agree with me, but you guys who are with nice body should wear tight jeans sometimes. Laughing Laughing Laughing

I like to wear form-fitting jeans, but not tight jeans necessarily. Super tight jeans are too uncomfortable. My guys need breathing room! And the jeans that are tight all the way down to the ankles look weird if you ask me. That seems to be the style around these parts.

I teach university students and the topic came up about "hip hop" style baggy pants. Many of them kind of chuckled at the idea... when I asked why, they said something like "it's old fashioned." Uncool. A decade ago.

Heh. I never thought baggy pants could be "old fashioned," like my grandpa or grandma, or nerdy uncle, but I suppose it is quite "out of style" here in Korea, at least.

Forgiving me for being a little bit unreasonably selfish.
I can foresee a time when male wearing something uncomfortable to please female is coming soon.......the birthplace would be nowhere but Korea.

Tight jeans are trendy in Korea.
All guys who play music in a band here I see wear tight jeans and are super skinny.

I wonder if there is any relation.

Not giving up the baggies. Say what you will, but there is something heavily comfortable about baggy pants. Besides, given a choice would you rather look like a 16 year old emo or a adult?

Tight jeans on asians =looks fine
Tight jeans on most western men = projectile vomiting.

and I say that with affection, we just have different body types, we come across looking like country western star truckers, not sizzlingly hot rock band types.

I don't really wear tight jeans but definitly not baggy. The old jeans and converse look plus t was always my fave so the current trend in korea makes me happy as larry.

I have to say that the trend for tight jeans is very convenient. As I get older and fatter, my jeans get tighter. Now I can just say that I'm simply following fashion.

I was just thinking about this today, while walking home from school.
In my opinion, tight "skinny" jeans on guys, is absolutely WRONG!!!!
I put it right up there with speedos. Personally, I find it revolting.
I also do not like the hip hop style. While I'm on my soapbox, I also dislike how most of the jeans in this country have rear pockets that go halfway down the back of their legs. (Both men and women) This just makes their butts look even more flat. Gross. Just a regular pair of straight legged jeans pleases this girl.

yeah...I don't get the whole "skinny jean" phenomenon to begin with. I suppose it could possibly work for some chicks, but in my opinion, it's a big no-no for guys...korean or western!
