Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but here it goes.
Can anyone attempt to give me a ballpark idea of what timeline I am looking at in regards to getting a contract signed, a visa, and making the trip over to Korea?
Basically if I were to be contacted by my future employer about my resume today, how long til I am in Korea?
I imagine this varies based on a number of factors, so I don't expect a definitive answer, even if people can tell how long it took them or their friends in the past that'd be helpful.

10~15 days min. If the visa confirmation number arrives and you are on the ball at the consulate.

Depends.

What country are you from/in?

Do you have your background check done and apostiled?

Do you have your diploma, transcripts, passport, photos, resume?

If you have all of your documents ready, you can come quickly, 2 to 4 weeks if all goes smoothly.

But, Immigration officials in Korea in different cities work at different speeds. Likewise, Korean consulates in different cities and countries process applications at different speeds.

Lots of variables.

When you have all your documents together, expect them to take about a week to get to Korea--FedEx, UPS, etc.

Maybe a week or two for your school to get the visa number from Korean Immigration, could be less.

Then whatever day your Consulate tells you to be there for the visa. Coordinate that date with the school to arrange your flight.
