| This is probably the only thing I'll never do in Korea, just because I think it's a huge waste of money. I am curious about Westerners that have been, though. What was it like? |

LOL... You won't go not because you think it's a huge waste of money... you won't go because you have to ask 'what it was like' - you're a 32-year-old, virgin, latent homosexual.
Get your K-boss to pay for it and 'come on over'. |

I'll happily go to one if someone else wants to foot the bill.
If you think I'm going to pay several hundred dollars just for drinks.. and then another 500 plus just for a sexual companion, you are out of your mind.
at those prices, your hand is your best friend.
I hope the girls there are better looking than the ones at several noraebangs I've been taken to. Some very homely creatures I've seen indeed. |

I know you're trying to troll, but I read your post three times and still don't understand what you mean. Thanks for playing though! |

We have distributors around the globe (and no, I'm not an English
teacher) and when they visit we always take them to room salons.
At first they protest a little bit, but as soon as the whiskey gets a flowin'
and the girls get a goin' they soon forget their pre-programmed
Judeo/Christian morality.
As for the rooms, they are like singing rooms, but the girls are what
everyone goes for, obviously. Some girls are very nice and friendly.
At the end of the drinking the customer and girl decide if they want to
spend more time together at a hotel.
I can tell you this, our distributors love visiting Korea. And the funny thing
is they probably have other suppliers here and when they visit them they
get the whole thing all over again. |

| Why not just ask 'Are there any Korean males who make a decent wage or have access to an expense account whom you hang out with'? |

^ Yes.
It's fun. There is no real pressure to have sex. You can easily party, sing songs, laugh and joke, eat,...even sleep and walk away. Or,...(as Cohiba says) get a room! |

That's interesting about the hotel bit. My buddy worked for a US Military contractor and some Korean bigwigs took him and his bosses to one. He told me people were "getting it on" in the big room. They had sex in the singing room with the girls. I was pretty shocked, but at the same time, why else would they go there? |

| I was walking around Duckei, a small town near Yangsan one night when I used to live in Korea. Was drunk..had drank about three bottles of soju and some beer. Saw the barber poles (on every friggin street corner nearly) and walked up. An old wrinkly Korean woman answered the door. Was about 3 in the morning. I walked in and there were old and young Korean woman sleeping in cots. I pointed to the prettiest one but an older one about mid forties pulled me onto laying down bed kind of thing used for massages. She then asked for 100 bucks. What the hell I said. She then told me to take off my clothes and put on a robe. I layed down and she gave me a massage and told me to turn over and gave me a hand job and said I could sleep there. I woke up the next morning in the establisment with a severe head hangover and feeling like I had wasted money. I had a similar experience at Busan only that one involved a younger woman, which I refused sex from her, opting only for a hand job because I didn't have a condom with me. They all laughed at me the next morning when I stumbled out for whatever reason. Not trying to brag, but Koreans really tend to like me alot. |
