Hi,
It is M-F, he said about 35 hrs/wk , nice housing in
the city (Ulsan)
Here is the schedule
9:40- 1:50 2:30-3:20 3:30-4:20 4:30-5:20
He said classes are 40 min/each and asked what
salary do I expect. What
do you all recommend?
Thanks!! |

You NEED to ask him "what does this job regularly pay." This puts the ball in his court. You'll receive his answer, then go from there. |

Roughly 2.3 million. This would depend on your experience and qualifications. Where in Ulsan? Those appear to be 50 min. classes to me. |

It also depends on how many of those hours are teaching hours. That big block of time from 940~150 deserves an explanation. It appears after that, you have 3 other classes. So, if they have you teaching all throughout the big block of time, and assuming you get your lunch between 150~230, where is your preparation time?
If you have no experience, and are teaching 25~30 classes, then at a hagwon, the starting rate is around 2.2~2.3 for a 35~40 hour week. |
