My school is asking me to teach a kind of civics/geography/world cultures lesson for a few weeks, and I'm at a loss at to what kinds of activities I can use to catch their interest. Their English is pretty good, but I'm really not familiar with making subjects interesting, I'm mostly familiar with the ESL games/activities. Any websites or ideas are appreciated. |

How about showing them different music, dance or traditional foods from various parts of the world?
You could also bring in traditional childrens stories from around the world and have them guess what they were trying to teach (the moral of the story)
You could bring in pictures of famous places, and talk about them one lesson... and then have a "famous places" bingo game. |
