Yeah Wendy's would be a nice change. I agree with others about Pancho's and Kraze Burgers.
There was another place I went to there that was on the same side as the Hamilton. I was looking for a decent breakfast place but this would have cost at least 15,000 for pancakes! I walked out and didn't get the name of it. Anyone else been to that one? |

Do you know where Gecko is? Don't mean Gecko Garden, but the main one... walk down there as if you were going up hooker hill.. then take the first right turn, walk down a bit - it's on the second floor. |

The best place to eat fast food in Itaewon (actually near Haybeonchon) is Taco Taco- I travel 30+ minutes to eat there and always eat there when in the area- 5500 won for the (filling and delicious) beef burrito is a bargain. It's across the street from Noksapyeong station.
Another great one is "Pharoah's," just up the ("Homo") hill from the foreign food store beside "What the Book."
The sausages at Oktoberfest in Gangnam (exit 5, 1st right, 50 metres and down the stairs) are good, but expensive. They do have the best beer in Seoul. I am having one now.
Who has had good dessert in Seoul- real, sweet, chocolaty cake- like "back home"- not crappy psuedocake. |

The Millennium Seoul Hilton have to die for desserts - unless things have changed, the pastry chef(s) there know how to make real British/English puddings and cakes (they use to host the Pudding Club, which unfortunately is gone now).
There is a small pastry shop down by the 3 Alley that does pretty decent pies, too.. the chef is ..hmm.. I am not really sure where he is from, but he makes a scrumptious blueberry tart.
Can you guys tell I love eating?? Haha.. |

12 years ago, we used to go to the Reggae Pub. They had good food, good burgers. I still haven't found out why that place closed down. The sign's still up though. |

Ah! Another one that I can think of and I haven't been back since 2003 is Ali Baba's. I can't remember what I paid but I think it was close to 20,000 won and it was for a tiny plate of hummus, some pitas, and a chicken skewer. To top it off, it had absolutely no flavor. |

I thought the Foreign Restaurant (on the way heading up to WhatTheBook) was a total rip-off for their buffet.
Best burgers I've had in Korea were at Bun Street and Freshness Burger. |

Where are those? I think I ate at a Freshness Burger in Hyewha. Ever try Mos Burger in Japan? |

Smokey's is good, not great considering the price and all, but tasty (and greasy). I'm not a fan of Kraze Burger, at least not for that price.
3 Alley is pretty good too, a lil hit n miss with some of their menu items but good all around.
Panchos sucks. The other Taco joints in Itaewon are 'ok' but don't hold candles to Tomaillo, Dos Tacos and OTB.
Wolfhound's is solid, never had a bad meal there. Nothing blows me out of the water on their menu but solid.
Richard's Copycat, yeah the service blows, food is good enough tho.
Foriegn Restaurant is also 'ok', Taj Palace is better, but like mexican food, there's better joints outside Itaewon.
The Sortino, nobody's mentioned that one yet, best Italian food in Seoul (outside of hotel restaurants). Pricy pricy tho, but killer quality.
There's so many kalab places now...the one under Metro, near Wolfhound & Geckos is usually satisfying. The others are good but could be better, but you can't go wrong for that price. |

lot's of recommendations for Wolfhound. What's the best food there? I may have to try it again.
I only ate in there once and it was very poor. I had bangers and mash but the mash potato was straight out of a packet. It's not exactly hard to boil up some potatoes and mash them up with a bit of milk and butter. |
