I understand Andong has really good freshwater largemouth bass fishing. It's got a huge lake, dam, and the starting point of the Nakdong river which runs South to Daegu and into the southern part of the country; all full of bass and catfish.

I read Andong is a 3 hour bus ride from Dong Seoul bus terminal. Looking at a map, it appears the dam and river starts very close to town with the lake being a little distance outside of town; not walking distance.

I found this website http://thebasshole.blogspot.com/ No detailed info on how to get to the fish though.
