Hi, I was wondering:
Can I just walk into any hospital in Pusan and get a hepatitis B shot? I'm due for one of my shots and there are lots of hospitals in my area. And is going to one of these hospitals difficult for a foreigner? Do you have to fill out forms you can't read...ect? |

In seoul several of the larger university hospitals have international clinics. English nurses and doctors. Look for the biggest university hospital around head there. I'm not sure if there is an english information number for busan (there probably is) but if you can find it and give it a call they can tell you where the international clinics are. |

Pharmacies here in Korea carry very little inventory. Had a prescription to get the Hep injection (gave it to myself), had to trudge to heaps of pharmacies before I found one that carried the stuff. You need a place close to a Big Pharmacy that does carry more than just ginseng and vitamin c drinks. |

If you have national health insurance, it's dirt cheap to get the series. It takes 6 months to complete the series, and you can do it at the neighborhood health clinics. |
