where did you hear that there were no showers? I think what they meant was there aren't very many shower stalls. bathrooms are generally small with a showerhead coming out of the sink or attached to the wall. it isn't really that bad. some studio apartments are really small, other are quite spacious. my studio apartment is rather large, but the one I was in before this was barely big enough for my twin bed and a drying rack.

here's some links to the pictures of my apartment if you want to see:

Mine looks very similar to his. I don't have the pictures online. I think mine is slightly larger, but the flooring is the same and I have more furniture. There are lots of videos on youtube of apartments here.

5 down 600 a month

The photos were taken just after I moved in so it looks a little barren and untidy, it looks nicer now, and it is bigger than the photos make it look

He meant 5 million down. I don't think I've ever seen a deposit less than 5 million in the last half decade.

I want to see pics of JungroGuru's house again. That rocked.

I've occasionally seen signs on places here for 1 rooms with 3 million deposit. Don't think I'd want to set foot in them though.
Its a decent deal on the officetel, but anyang is a little out of the way depending on where you're working.

yeah it is 5 mill. Anyang out of the way? I'm 5 min from beomgye station and line four heads straight to seoul.

forget jungroguro's house (i'm sure it's nice tho) check out bluelake's house, some one pm him and get him to post them again. won't help the op, pretty sure a school won't provide a house like that
