I have just signed into my hotmail email account a few times, I've had it for over 10 years. I sign in and the message: 'You haven't got an inbox yet' comes on the screen. I also have no access to my inbox or messages.
Anybody else got the same problem? Check your hotmail account now. |

| Yeah, I just got the same thing. I have a PAID account I've had for many, many years. Still, I can receive my hotmail (so far) on Outlook Express. I just sent a message to their feedback asking why that happened. |

| Mine's back now. I sent them two terse letters, although I doubt that had anything to do with its return... |

Yeah Same thing happened to me on that day.
You know, if you guys install Windows Live mail. Which is just a mail client on your computer you wouldnt need to go through their hotmail.com site. It just downloads everythign to your computer directly from Hotmail. Soo even if their sites go down ot do weird things like "you dont have an inbox" you can still write , send and receive emails through the windows live mail client. If i tried to go to hotmail.com and look at my emails it would give me that msg but after i installed the client ( friends recommendation) I had access to everything no problem. Now i have all my email accounts stored all in one place. |

| Same here on my work computer but it works on my home computer. I thought my paid account had expired. I was worried because all my contacts are on hotmail. |

In a way, as I've conducted business off of it for the past dozen years, and it's where people know to find me. I keep all my correspondence on it, going way back when, so I can access it from anywhere. I have a Gmail account that I use with my family. Sometime I might move everything from Hotmail to a Gmail account (which has lots of space, but for free), but with the amount I need to move, it might be some time before that happens. |
