I booked my ticket on Northwest Airlines this weekend, but the site was having issues. It kept denying my flight. I had to call customer service to learn that they were in the middle of merging the site with Delta airlines, and that I should try again later. My attempts were all denied due to errors, and I was asked to try back.

It ended up working a day later. Today, however, my father got notice from the bank that my credit card had been charged 3 times for the exact same ticket on the same flight. I only had record and confirmation of one.

My father spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with NWA and the bank, and he's worried they won't properly credit the card. NWA agreed to have a conference call with the bank to work it out. The bank also put a fraud-watch on the card.

What a mess!

That's really unfortunate, but I'm sure the bank and NW will work it out for you. did they give you any idea as to when their site will be working 100% again?

I didn't talk to them. I think the error focused around that one flight. Just a warning... if you use them, make sure you pay close attention to your credit card.

Well Delta just bought NWA.. So that might have something to do with it? Who knows...

Im sure youll get your money back. I've never delt with NWA but ive had my credit card charged more than once through a Flight ticket website. In the end it doesnt make sense you buy the same ticket for the same price with the same name on the ticket 3 times =p.
