I have asked to teach a pop song in my english class tomorrow for all the teachers but i'm struggling! I keep thinking of ones but they have no lyrics on U Tube or it's full of sexy dancing and less clothes, which won't go down very well with the principal in the room.

The language needs to be pretty simple and clear too. Any thoughts!!!??

Try this. The lyrics are straight forward enough and I imagine quite a few of them will start tapping their toes!

Failing that The Beetles 'yellow submarine' always goes down well with Koreans!

I hear this one is popular with all the kids right now:

edit:

I suppose if you got desparate enough, good old Rick Ashley will never let you down.

I used the theme to Cheers with some of my adult classes in Japan. Some liked it, others were confused LOL

You'll have to scroll thru this as the music progresses, but it's for teachers.

Here's the original, by Lulu, with lyrics:

And the actual clip from the movie. If you've never seen it, it's a SPOILER:

If you want to annoy any Christian teachers, Hells Bells by ACDC.

Or something by the Carpenters/Beatles.

Here's the first "Lemon Tree". Genre is Calypso--pre-reggae. Wink

Another blast from the past, but you'll have to google the lyrics:
