Thanks. I'll be sure to get there early. Looks like they might sell out of everything. Especially with all the cheap Canadians out for 2000 won shots of Cuervo.
**edit** I just checked the website. They serve breakfast burritos starting at 7:30. Looks like it will be an all day affair for me |

Since when did a kid turn down a taco?
Bring the kids out--i'm sure mine will be there at some point! She's a big fan of the Coronas--just kiddding.
There might be stuff for the kids too...still working on that angle.
Tell your friends! |

The prices on the web site are pretty decent. I live on a bus line that stops at Gwanghwamun so that's a bonus for me since I'll be hammered by 3:00. Is it like a typical family style restaurant or do they have bar seating. Important since I'll be going alone. |

It's actually not a typical family style seating arrangement. There more of an open "You Choose" angle on the seating situation. For the Cinco de Mayo party however, there might only be standing room available! |

As someone who has lived in Mexico (Oaxaca). I'm always interested when people say "real mexican food". Could you please define some of the real mexican dishes? |

I've really missed Mexican food. Anyone have any opinions on this restaurant?
Not that terribly picky, just like it not to have sweet pickles in any of the dishes. (damn you dos tacos) |

It's one of those terms that gets bandied about. 99% of the time when people say "Mexican food" they are actually speaking of TexMex. I'm sure you won't find carne asada or mole in Korea anywhere unless you make it. |

Demonicat...
You're completely right--not Mexico Style Mexican Food--more of a SoCali-Mex style.
No sweet pickles and asparagus in the burritos...they don't even serve spaghetti or hamburgers either.
They do however have some decent Carne Asada.
Burrito eating contest details will be out soon--probably in the next few days...stay tuned. |
