my flight this summer has 2 layovers so it's gonna be a long one
my batteries aren't going to last that long at all - I've heard there are cables/plugs one can buy for computers on planes or is it a special adapter?
any advice about this is very greatly appreciated!! |

Moosehead, are you traveling to Canada? (You like Moosehead beer?)
Air Canada flights have plugs in the back of all chairs, if you are flying with them then you won't need anything, as the plugs accomodate all sorts of types. |

Singapore Air has in-seat plugs for your computer cable, no adapter necessary. Check the website of the airline you're flying, there should be information about the plugs that are available. |

I've never seen plug ins other than in the lavatory and in those huge luxurious seats up front. One flight robot ran out of juice and it had to be carried off the flight. LOL Flying business class is electrifying, but largely unaffordable. |

have no idea what airline
my travel agent likes to email me these etickets in K then when I print them out they are all odd characters 'cuz my printer didn't print them right - and I don't read K anyway -
so it's always a mystery until I arrive at the airport - but he always gets me a good deal whenever and wherever I want to go so that's all I care about
so if I just have my power cord w/me I'm good to go - is that what you all are saying? |

I don't remember seeing plugs on Korean Air, but then again, that's just my memory. And I was not looking. Korean Air had tens and tens of different types of free 'on demand' type entertainment and movies, so I did not need my laptop or ipod at all. |

Cathay Pacific has plugs down by your feet. It took me a while to find them! |

Robot Teacher is right. If you really need to charge your battery, just go sit in the lavatory for an hour. Honestly, I like being in there because of the bright light. Lights on international flights are always non-existent, except for that Chinese movie they always coincidentally play whenever I fly.
Given, you may get some weird looks coming out of the toilet with your computer after you've been in there for over an hour. but you know what they say: "when you gotta go [to charge your laptop], you gotta go" |

The Narita airport has lots of outlets around. Can't remember it they are flat or round pin. But that only helps if your layover is like an hour or more. |
