I was thinking of the One where the co-teacher alerted the druggies and they ratted her out in their interrogation. |

I have no sympathy for people who do drugs in Asia.
Everyone knows that Asia takes drugs very seriously.
And rightfully so... you see what drugs have done to western societies, and I can't fault the Asians for taking a no BS attitude toward drugs.
And before someone comes back and says: "Well, man, weed is no worse than alcohol"... well, maybe, maybe not... that's still no excuse for breaking Korean law. |

I looked on the Korean Herald and Times sites but didn't see it, thanks for linking it. My wife actually caught it on the news which is how I heard about it.
I had heard one of them was an American (Kyopo), but no mention of it in the article. |

Sad to say, when I first read the title, I thought that this was why we haven't been inundated with posts from michealambling lately. |

You mean to tell me smoking a plants flower buds is a bad and highly illegal thing to be doing? Apparently it's demonized and punishable, but yet harmless to everyone, but the individual inhaling carcinogenic smoke. Cigarettes ought to be banned.
Why that doesn't make sense to me. I miss those stinky tacky flower buds. God dang, it's just a plant the US demonized 100 years ago in attempt to oust the Mexicanos and then the world followed pursuit in the footsteps of America, the great leader of the world.
We got it all wrong, but yet, don't do pot in Asia and tell everyone about the pot you have for sale that's almost ready in 2 weeks in your closet grow room. LMAO!
My friends back home are tooting it up like usual like it aint nuttin but a thing, you know. Here, it's the worst beer and no more, except you can become an internetaholic. |

weed is a threat to public health......but tobacco isn't. sheer hypocrisy and idiocy. ALL drug laws are for leverage and nothing else. They are NEVER about health, order, or protection. China got off opium under the communists and free rehab. As a matter of fact, even the ex-Nazi-founded RAND corporation who routinely does research for the US states that rehab is the most cost effective by several orders of magnitude.
Look at Prohibition America and America today. Bootleggers and coke lords, same problem, same solution (legalize).
Weed is not something I enjoy at all, but God, who cares? The whole weed is evil is imported from the US who imported it from Mexico. Pot laws, opium laws, crack laws, are disproportionate and always have been to discriminate against Chinese, MExicans and Blacks in America. The propaganda comes from Mexico. During the Zapatista revolution the government blamed it discontents' behavior on weed and said weed makes you rebel against your government. |

What's the literature on weed becoming a stepping stone to more powerful drugs?
Besides, conspiracy theories aside, you have to be a complete retard to do any kind of drugs in Asia. You're just asking for it. |
