Two topics that don't often go together... BUT..

I'm looking for pototoes in Korea.. and looking to play some Ping-Pong.. anyone know how can I satisfy both of these needs?

Thinking particularly of hash browns or tater tots in regards to potatoes.

I told you last night- I believe Hannam has them, as does Carrefour. I take it Kim's Club does not? They shouldn't be that hard to find. My favorite soju bar in Cheong ju offers tatertots as a side dish!

What do they call it a Ping Pong Bang?

Potatoes.. yeah, seen tater tots and such here and there in the past.. but now now that I'm looking for them.

Throughout the Lotte Department Store and about 8-9 mini-mart type stores.. I came up with zero Sad

Where do I find the Hannam place?

Where do I find Carrefour?

What is King's Club?

I promised you a Gord style diagram, will a gord inspired map do?

I can't believe you've never been there!

King's club is a GI hangout, I think. Kim's Club is an E-mart type store near the express bus terminal.

Make your own hash browns. All you have to do it get a potato, peel it, grate it and fry it. Why buy one that are prepelled and grated, and then frozen and ruined. If you are willing to do step 3 (i.e., fry it) why not also do step one (peel) and step two, grate?????

i love it (ping pong). when i asked a teacher about it he said he was a member of a small ping pong club. he asked me to go but it was too far from home... he then said there was 1 close to my home if i wanted to go (in suncheon). it sounds like there are quite a few places around.

i still haven't gone.. it's like the gym.. i know where all the fitness places are, i just can't go.

Seems a lot easier to find ping pong tables outside of Seoul than in Seoul.

You can find frozen tatertots and hash browns in E-Mart and Lotte Mart (saw them today in the Seoul Station store).

Sucks, doesn't it. I had to join a church in Kwangmyongshi to gain acces to a table. A Korean dude from my first ever level 2 class set me up with an associate membership.

As for taters, get planter boxes and grow your own indoors. Just leave a few chunks in old boots over summer. Harvest.
