Does an F-5 Visa equal an American Green Card?

I've been told that people with F-5's can apply for jobs with their F-5 and that's all there is to it.

No passport copy, etc.

Just show the ARC with the F-5, much in the same way foreigners in America can apply for jobs with a Green Card.

Is that true?

This is true. Some employers and businesses will tell you differently, but simply because they do not know the laws regarding the F5 visa. Good luck on your job search.
