I teach at an elementry school in the after school program. But the school also has 3 other teachers to teach their regular english classes at school. The school isn't even that big. Only 6-7 per grade. Anyway those 3 teachers come in normal start time, and teach 3-4 classes in the morning then leave at lunch time.

Does anyone else have this gig? Seems pretty comfortable to me. Teach 3-4 classes with a korean teacher, doing the normal curriculum. Seems really in and out to me no real effort required. If so how did you come by the job and how much is the pay? I think all 3 of those teachers also go on to another job after this. I don't know because I can't really talk to them. Because I arrive just before lunch when they are still teaching. But they go home when I have to go eat lunch with the teachers.

I do morning classes like you described. I like it. 3 or 4 classes a day. I'm done by 12:10pm and head out to my next job.

Money is less than doing a private but it is consistent.

If you want to do a similar gig I suggest you talk to one of the teachers at your school. I'm angling at picking up the afternoon classes at the school I teach at now. I've let my co-teacher know my intentions and he is asking around at other schools right now.
