Im going to be moving to Korea in about 2 months. I was wondering how easy it is for someone who only knows english to use the bus and subway systems. Im going to be in Pusan and Daugu alot. It just slightly worries me that it will be difficult to get around useing these things. Does anyone know if the Subway Bus systems are hard for English speakers to master?

All signs and most maps have English on them.
And not to be too much of a wise guy, but most words that end in "e", including "move" and "use", lose the "e" when "-ing" is added, like in "moving" and "using".
Welcome to Korea! |

I haven't been to Daegu, but the subways in Seoul and Busan are really easy to navigate. All signs and announcements in Seoul are in English, and the signs at least (can't remember about the announcements) in Busan. It's the easiest by far of any non-English speaking country I've caught trains in (other cities include Osaka, Kyoto, Moscow and St Petersburg - and this includes the fact that I could read Hiragana and Cyrillic passably).
Buses are harder as they are mostly in Hangeul, but once you get the hang of them they are GREAT! Learn to read Korean for the easiest experience, and try this website:
http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/TR/TR_EN_5_1_3_2.jsp
you need to use Internet Explorer, but it's a really really useful website. |

Thanks to most of you contributing nothing useful. A person asks for help and all you can do is insult them. I understand i spelled moving wrong, its one thing to point it out its another to be jerks about it. Sincere thanks go to those that actually assisted me. |

The subways in Daegu/Busan have way less stops/lines than the ones in Seoul, so I doubt you will have a lot of trouble. Buses are another thing though... Stick with what you know, then venture out slowly. |

Daegu has two lines. The nightlife is between Banwoldang and Jungangno stations on the red line. |
