I've heard May and June from different people, but I can't find anything solid. Any info on Line 9 is much appreciated. |

the subway maps in the carriages on line 2 have all been updated to include line 9, so I assume it's opening very soon.
If not, I can see some poor foreigners having a lot of problems trying to transfer to it.
Anything good on line 9? Hopefully it will take the pressure off line 2, but that's about the only good thing I can see. |

Don't know, but they'll be opening one from Yongin to Gangnam this year (probably Autumn). I think I heard somethng about it going near Suwon too.
Unable to fins a map online, but I found one accidentally last month! |

I had seen the wiki page before, but I didn't see a date for when it will actually open. A co-worker today told me that he had heard May 30th, but nothing definite. |

It's on the Bundang Line, believe it or not. They are extending the Bundang line from Bojeong to Suwon. Also, they are building a line (based on some old tracks) from Suwon to Incheon. This will be great for Suwon residents as there will practically be 2 lines running through length and breadth of Suwon. |

After checking wikipedia...it seems the SuIn line will just be an extension of the Bundang line and will merge with line 4 in Ansan...which will be extended to Incheon. Check the wikipedia pages on these 2 lines if interested.
