Oh wow. He is an "ex-gay". Strange stuff.

Me anti-gay?!

One of the bizarre stories about me that's doing its 'rounds' on the Internet is that I'm a gay hater. Today I received an email from an American serviceman stationed here in Seoul and his first comment to me was "I heard somewhere that you have engaged in homosexual acts". I was surprised to say the least! Although I am a Calvanistic Christian who believes in the infallability of Scripture and that Jesus is the only way to God, I am also pro-gay, as I wrote here a few weeks ago. Not in the sense of agreeing with their lifestyle, but loving them so much that I want them to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I'm not afraid to talk about these issues, even if many Christians and non-Christians are, because it's about time that they get discussed and not many Christians talk about them enough.

I'm not anti-gay because, prior to getting married, I was actively gay. If you want to read my story about how I got into and out of the lifestyle, you can do so here.
I've also been discussing this issue at long length here on this blog since 28 February 2009, on subjects are varied as being married and having same-sex attractions to how to live with the attractions without acting on them. Whether you're Christian or not, agree with me or not, love me or hate me, I'm happy for you to read what I've written and comment (as long as it's not denigrating to me or others). Enjoy!

Interesting..

Reminds me of the scene in Religolous (sp), the film by Bill Maher. He interviews an "ex-gay" who uses the bible to counsel gays out of their ways. The dude was a queer as a three dollar bill.

yikes as soon as you find out someone is an ex-gay, you never again take seriously anything they have to say. they are self-loathing filth unworthy of our attention.
