It is now utterly impossible to claim the US did not torture anyone over the past 7 years.

You liberals think that everything that is wrong with the world starts with the USA. If you hate the USA that much....leave.

actually it's the DOD NSA Homeland Security and a host of corrupt politicians, not to mention corporations, which have circumvented the will of the people - yes, the people - for nothing less than greed, power and control of resources.

as for the option of leaving if one doesn't like something; many people have left countries where they were better off working to improve things while in exile, what makes you think some Americans aren't doing the same thing here in K?

but of course, you mean just leave and STFU, right? nah, is much too much fun getting on the nerves of cowards who'd rather live in their cozy worlds of denial sucking on the juice from the matrix Wink

Duh, we already have.

In fact, Americans' general ignorance in world affairs, especially in matters like geography, was one reason for my leaving.

Liberal???? George Washington banned torture! I'm with Washington , on this. It put our troops in danger of being tortured!! They were tortured because of this!!! I support George Washington's side on this and I support the troops, cant get anymore conservative. I think thee should be prosecutions for this because torture it is against traditional American values.

You are referring to THE CRIMINALIZATION OF EVERYDAY LIFE, and yes, you are right.
