I have been reading this forum off and on for many years and every time a NET has problems with their employer, (well 99.9999999% of the time, i probably have forgotten some exceptions), they get on here and paint themselves like God's little angels who did nothing wrong and describe the Korean employer as the big bad bully who violated every law in the world just to make life miserable for some person they will forget once the contract is over.

Then i see a majority of sympathetic people (mostly NETs) automatically side with the 'offended' NET even though they have only heard one side of the story.

So, Why is that?

Why? Think numbers. If one person pitches a bitch fit about an employer, I'd tend to ignore it. When a herd pitches that fit, I perk up my ears, as there is something to it. Sure, there may be some elements left out of the offended parties' posts, but think numbers here. I'm not one to follow the herd, but I definitely turn tail and run when a hundred different, unrelated, unconnected people tell me the theatre is burning. But that's just me.

You all would be wrong. I just never had the desire to join this forum until the ATEK thread took off.

It's David Theissen aka archaeologist.

He posted on the Korea Times under the same user name. Your IP address is posted there with your posts so it's pretty easy to spot socks.

No not a gyopo or UCLA grad. I've heard he bought a doctorate in theology, but I have no first hand knowledge.

Again it's David Theissen people. White and ignorant bible thumper and America basher extraordinaire.
