and 808 State

and for trance, Orbital of course

Glad somebody thought of this topic...it's turning out to be a good Friday afternoon soundtrack for me with these songs resurrected Wink

Best thread EVA. KMFDM ROCKS! I used to sneak into raves at 13, awesome ones in NYC.

Lords of Acid for sure. Can't remember who was responsible for that "James Brown is Dead" song, but I remember that one clearly. Also, T99.

Ah the early nineties ... good times ...

Here are some of my favourites:

Happy Mondays - WFL (not their best song, and comes from '89, but its cool watching Shaun Ryder and Bez dancing 'round the Hacienda, kind of sums up the era)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3svrd9OaIw

Primal Scream - Loaded

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu1moz4Lp74

Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy (dreadful video clip)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu1moz4Lp74

Hardcore ... you know the score ...
CJ Bolland - Horsepower (this song never fails to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Sounded great on a huge system in a warehouse somewhere)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEs-26Ab-Mg&feature=PlayList&p=3CD2A19BE5125249&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=30

Human Resource - Dominator (Joey Beltram Mix)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gcCZo9jsKM&feature=PlayList&p=5B74E68DD5CCD2D9&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=83

And finally, here are a few tracks from one of my favourite albums of last year, Where were u in '92 by Zombie - the nineties revival has arrived!

There was some great stuff that came off that Deconstruction label; I loved this track by Harmonix.
