Some of the students in my school have a field trip today. Shortly after the buses arrived, the cops showed up and had the five bus drivers blow into the breathalyzer. I would have liked to see someone check their brakes as well.

For all I know, one of the local cops has a kid on one of those buses and was just making sure! Has this happened at anyone else's school?

There was a bus accident on the weekend, a driver fell asleep or something and it caused a lot of damage, 7 elementary school teachers were in a car that was hit and they were all killed, dipstick.

A bit amusing? 7 people DIED in a crash involving a school bus not but last week and this is "a bit amusing" to you? Now the police are doing something in response to what they perceive what might stop tragedies like that from happening again and you're "a bit" amused?

That's just sick.

Nothing is mentioned about this in the original post. I found it amusing that the cops were checking bus drivers for alcohol intoxication. WTF is your problem?

Yes, the accident is tragic!

It's terrible!

Good thing a foreigner wasn't driving!

Glad they're looking out for the kids as drinking and driving must happening as I just see people driving all over the road without the ability to stay in their lane. Buses and trucks are especially bad about this in turns you can't even see around due to big rocks and mountains.

Have to side with tokki on that one. No mention was made about any deaths in the original post. Actually gave me an idea for that "choose a slogan for daves thread"

Daves. Where reading comprehension skills go to die in order to take a pot shot at someone. Wink
