Hopefully this won't get deleted this time... I have an F4 visa, with a pretty solid background in teaching. What is the going rate for private one-on-one tutoring in Seoul??
The lady only wants to work on conversation. I hear 50,000 is the average, but that seems high to me. |

Whatever you can get, go for it. 50k won't seem high to you when you factor in travel time/costs, material costs, and prep time.
50 seems fine because most people I know do them for between 40 and 60...
A couple newbies I knew did it for less, but they were in debt and didn't have experience. Some recruiters get 70 for an hour and give the teacher 40.
Whoops, I typed too much since this will probably get deleted too. It was probably deleted before because it was in the wrong folder (try the Jobs one, private lessons sticky). |
