When I was in Central America I had a nice compact Franklin brand translator that did English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
I can read Hangul now but have NOOOOO idea what I am reading most of the time. I get lucky with some cognates, but that is about it.
I would love to have my translator that I used in Central America or something like it.
Does anyone own one? Can you recommend it?
Thanks |

Honestly, just buy a nintendo DS and an R4 card (available all over, particularly in Yongsan), then download the touch dictionary. Hell, half of the places where you buy the R4 card can load it for you so you don't have to waste time searchiung and downloading. It's equatable to almost any other dictionary, and you also get the DS games/movies/music with it. |

I really like the idea of the DS. That being said I have been online for about 30 minutes trying to find where I can buy it with no luck. Can you point me in the right direction?
Specifically I can not find the Touch Dictionary part.

Does your cell phone/mobile have a dictionary on it? Will that suffice?
Also, I've never bothered buying one of those dictionaries, because when I study Korean, I tend to be around a computer anyway, and I just use the Naver dictionary online. |
