hi i got a job offer from icheon high school (GEPIK)
is it a cool move to take the offer???
i also have an offer in ECC, but i heard lots of bad
experiences from ppl online, so maybe i should do
the GEPIK program?????????
im desperate to go to korea!
pls give me some advices

If you are that desperate to come to the Hermit Kingdom, take whatever gig is offered and deal with what comes your way.
I just don't think being desperate to come to Korea is they way to view an oppertunity like this! |

| The high school position seems to be the better one but you have to look at the contracts and compare notes. Then basically it is up to you to decide as how you will be treated depends a lot on how you treat the Koreans. |

im reli looking forward to going to korea! and thats why im desperate...

depends if the ECC you're talking about is a franchise or company owned? with franchises I'd be a bit wary as some have terrible reputations, some ok. If it's the company owned ECC's then they're more reliable in terms of being paid on time, getting pension, insurance, conditions etc. You will probably be worked to the bone.
I would however (as other posters ave said) choose GEPIK over ECC. Better hours, less work, more holiday , random days off doing nothing when kids have exams, and if you want to earn some extra money you might have the chance to do some extra classes in the afternoon (afterschool program) which will add a nice bit extra on your paycheck. |

I'd also double check the location. People have confused Icheon and Incheon before!
Definitely go with GEPIK! |

no, I don't think so.
INcheon, as in ICN, as in where the airport is, as in where McArthur made his landing, as in the 2nd or is it 3rd? biggest city in Korea... is NOT part of GEPIK.
