Can anybody give me some advice on the visa process? I recently applied for a visa for a private school and during the visa process the employer suddenly changed his mind after I singed the contract. Is there a way I can use the current visa for a new job position? It can cost a lot of money getting all of the documents together! Really disappointed!

Your Visa is tied to your job.

I guess you could try to get the employer who rejected you after singing the contract (you must be a bad singer) to transfer your Visa to a new employer.

However, if you haven't entered the country yet, that may be impossible.

Were you given a Visa issuance number? Did you actually get the Visa in your passport? How far did you actually get in the process?

If you never actually got your Visa issuance number, then I don't think you even have a Visa.

Unfortunately this happens from time to time just like teachers bail from time to time. If the Visa number has been or your docs submitted to immigration issued have the school cancel it and try to get them to repay you for at least the cost of getting your docs replaced.
If you've actually received your Visa come to Korea and get a Visa transfer done. It shouldn't be too difficult.
If no processing has been done have the school return your docs back to you.

Don't go some place that doesn't really want you. Major rule of thumb.

Do you have your Visa issue number?

If not, you won't get your visa.

If so, and you still want to work in Korea, try to negotiate with the current person to allow you to transfer your visa to another employer.
