Would anyone know an affordable place to stay in Gangnam for about 3 or 4 weeks? I thought maybe I could work out a deal with a place if I commit to pay for at least a month. All I need are the basics. I'm not looking for anything fancy. Affordable is the key word here. Maybe 500,000 Won for the month, give or take. Am I dreaming? Let me know if any of you know of any place. Thanks. |

Hmmm...500,000 for Gangnam. Could be pushing it. Your best bet is to advertise for a short term sublet wanted on Craigs List and the buy and sell forum here (if you didn't already- I didn't check). I pay 700,000 a month for an unfurnished studio with 5mil key money down on a year-long lease. You may get a room in an apartment for that money, but not a furnished studio.
If you do find something like that, let us know. I looked into it a few months ago, and the cheapest prices for furnished, short-term stay places seemed to be about 1.2mil a month. Alternatively, look outside of Gangnam. How about Jamsil or Seocho? They're still not Haebongcheon cheap, but cheaper than Gangnam. |
