Did you update Vista to IE 8 yet?
How does it do with Korean websites? Any issues? Banking issues? |

I'm having gmarket issues with IE8 on Windows 7. I can't get the security settings to work with the KEB anti-keylogger software. Everything works up until I have to enter CC numbers. I can't enter anything.
I got the issue resolved with XP+IE8 by using the security settings recommended by Gmarket. However, they don't seem to be working with Windows 7 RC. |

Thanks. Installing on the wife's machine because Kaspersky is warning me I need some of the security updates. We've been wanting to put off IE8, if possible for fear it won't work right on the sites she needs.
Oh well, we'll see! |

I've had problems with IE8 running Vista 32 bit Home. Many sites slow to a crawl and the wife just gives up in frustration. |

Oh i'm running Windows 7 with IE8 though. Not sure if that makes any difference. |

*crying*
Ever since I upgraded to IE 8, I have not been able to play "GoStop" (맞고) online anymore. And the damn game doesn't work in other browser than IE!
*still crying*
I am thinking about downgrading back to IE 7. |

I guess I'm going to have to install a virtual XP on my Windows 7 JUST to shop on Gmarket...
I've gotten IE8 to work with XP on Gmarket. I did this my using the recommended security settings given by Gmarket for IE7. However, this doesn't work with Win7.
I don't know who to be pissed off at...Korean websites for never getting with the times, Microsoft for inept security measures, or myself for not being able to change the security security settings in a way to make it work. Frustrating. |

I can tell you one thing I hate about IE 8. When I click the down arrow to the right of where I type websites in, the list shows below it. When I go down to click the one I want off of the list (without retyping) there is a stupid delete checkmark that is DIRECTLY below the arrow just enough so that I delete the website when I go to select it. Very frustrating. The could have moved that arrow a bit in another direction! |
