Where are all the Western girls! I'm 31, 6'2", athletic, very cute and am dieing to have an actual conversation with a woman. It gets frustrating trying to have conversations with Korean girls because of the language barrier.

I feel for you, mate. While Korean girls are attractive, they are not my cup of tea. I like a girl with substance, who listens to cool music, and whom I can talk to about all sorts of stuff. As I am happily taken, I'll tell you where to look. Note, if it sounds like I'm saying that I've 'bagged' tons of girls in these places- that's not what I mean. These are places where you can meet western girls, have a good time, and not feel like an idiot talking to strangers.


Check out Wolfhound's pub on a sunday night. Its quiz night starting at 9. Show up, look for an attactive girl and ask if you can join her team. The music is low for the quiz, so you can actually talk to her and see if you have something. (Itaewon)

The Seoul Hash. If you can wake up in the mornings, join the hashers in cross country running. Its good fun, and there's alcohol at the end. Lots of fit girls do that, and the fresh air and exercise leads to good conversations (Seoul)

I, personally, prefer dating Western women, but tons of Western guys want to date Korean women. I find Korean women attractive, but I prefer to date Western women. They're more familiar. I am definitely open to European women, not that I've seen many of them over here. Most Korean women don't speak much English. I like being able to actually converse with the women.

The dating scene for Western males seeking Western females is not that great. I have dated non-Korean women over here, but it's not easy sometimes.
