Went to my local Nonghyup bank ATM (rural area outside of Seoul) yesterday to withdraw some SOS funds and the message came up in Korean informing me that the ATM would be offline from May 2 - 5 because of Buddhas birthday on Saturday and Children's day on Tuesday of next week. Not sure if anyone else is getting the same message, but it might be worthwhile to get some extra spending cash if you are someone in the country without a check card to use when you make purchases. I didn't try my Woori account to see about those ATMs, but just wanted to pass along the word. I know the 365 machines work in the family marts and the GS marts also, but it is better safe than sorry. Cheers Very Happy

Hana Bank is having the same kind of problem. Would like to know if KEB is going to be having the same problem. The banks are closed today due to the holiday, right?

*Edited to be more specific.

Thanks for the heads up. I went to the ATM area and noticed that the back area had the metal slide door pulled down. I just assumed they were only letting people enter on the the other side to talk to the bankers. Now I know why Smile
