Jalgachi Fish Market is a must, Seomyeon and PNU area have some good foreigner bars and some good night life. So does the Kyungsung area. For shopping and a spa treatment head to Shinsegae Mall which is right by the Centuum City subway stop on line 2. I would also try to maybe check out Beomeosa shrine which is close to the city and up a mountain too if you are into hiking and temples. The Museum and UN war memorial sites are also good for a been there done that. Also the Lotte Giants are in town this weekend and that is really fun even if they are crap.

There's a shuttle bus station for busses up to Boemoesa temple, just 200 metres up the hill from the subway exit.

I recommend the Democracy Park museum (민주공원). When you get out of Busan station, cross the street and get into a taxi. It's about 3,000 won to the park, and the museum is there. Admission is 400 won (yes, only 400) and the observation deck on top of the building offers the best view of Busan- much better than Busan Tower, which is shabby with dirty windows (making decent photos impossible). The museum itself is interesting too if you're interested in modern Korean history.
