I'm looking for a place to rent/sublet for about a month, perhaps more. If none of you have a place available perhaps you know of an affordable hotel in the area that may be willing to make a deal for a month. I'm flying in on Monday, May 18 and will have alternate accomodation if necessary but I'm looking for a place specifically in Gangnam. The key word here is affordable. It would be nice if I didn't have to spend more than 500,000 Won for 4 weeks. Let me know. Thanks.

Depends on how much luxury you want.

I like Hotel Provista (about 10 mins walk from Gangnam) but for that proce I think a love hotel is more likely.

Some are quite nice for longer stays and u are on a different floor to the quickies.

It's going to be nearly impossible finding a decent place or hotel for that amount in Gangnam. When I lived out there a studio was double that with a large deposit. If it's short term and you don't need anything nice a goshiwon would be the best bet. A hotel or love motel charge anywhere from 50,000 to a 100,000 a night so I'm pretty sure a long-term arrangement won't be possible.

I used to work in Gangnam and when the teacher apartments were refurbished they moved them all into a love hotel for a while.

Many will do a deal for a month or two.
