I have braces from past 5 months and am was under the treatment of a dentist in Mumbai, India. Recently I moved to Seoul and will be staying here for another 14 months. Now my question-will there be any major problem if I go to a different dentist? Dentist in India says that it is not much of a problem but I have my own apprehensions. Will the new dentist gel along with the treatment procedure of my previous dentist?

I inquired a few friends in Seoul but they didn't have any idea of such a case. Then I visited one dentist in Guro and he said "In Korea we don't do like that. We've never faced such a case." I was quite petrified. I know there might be a few people who will have faced such a case. Hope I get some information here.

Also I guess periodic visits to dentist in Seoul will be more expensive. I thought the initial cost of braces will be huge and thereafter it will be very less for periodic visits (periodic visits be it in Seoul or in Mumbai). Well, has anybody else faced the same problem and how was the experience with two different dentists and their procedures?
