| How long, where and when depends on who hired you. There are many 'EPIK' orientations. |

I have heard August 19th
That is the start date listed for Sept. starting jobs w. EPIK, so assuming that the orientation begins on the 19th since school does not start until Sept.
Our recruiter informed us that all of the EPIK positions beginning in September share the same orientation dates. |

Your recruiter is wrong. Perhaps the recruiter meant the orientaion dates for the EPIK positions they have are all the same; but different POEs, MOEs and the EPIK 'national office' all have different orientation dates. |

disagree.
In my interview EPIK told me that the orientation would be ALL teachers hired to start September 2009.
...Unless I misunderstood something.
Is this not how they've done it in the past?
My recruiter told me that the date has not yet been confirmed, but I've heard the same that it ought to be the 19th or 20th. |

| My understanding is that orientation starts 10 days before the start of classes. So maybe Aug 21st? |

Sweet I will miss it again for the second year running!!! 
Hopefully will be back home in Canada for my 2 weeks homestay during that period. |

How would anyone here know that?? 
All I know to do would be to periodically check the EPIK website:
www.epik.go.kr
The program was 10 days if I remember correctly.
When does the Fall term start this year?? Sept. 2?
They could very well change program itself so no telling when it would start at this point. |
